Laguna Radio Inc.

Mission

Our mission is to amplify the good, inform the necessary, and surprise and delight our community. As a trusted local media source, we keep people connected on air, online, and in person—delivering real-time information when it matters most. We create a unifying space where our community and beyond can gather to listen and be heard. That's the power of community radio.

Vision

KXFM is strengthening its role as a community hub for Laguna Beach while expanding its reach across South Orange County. With a new ground-floor home and a growing digital presence, we’re building the next chapter of local media as we evolve from a radio station into an accessible, always-on town square. Our goal is to make local media more visible, more participatory, and more connected to everyday life by inviting people to engage with live radio, music, events, and original programming. Whether people tune in, walk in, or connect online, KXFM is creating more ways to stay informed, get involved, and feel part of something meaningful.

Goals

1.Launch new radio programs and digital content that reflect emerging community needs, amplify local voices, and provide hyperlocal news, cultural storytelling, and emergency information for South Orange County listeners.
2.Expand access to KXFM’s existing programs by increasing broadcast reach, enhancing online streaming, and promoting community engagement to ensure more South Orange County residents can enjoy our local news, music, and cultural programming.
3.Enhance KXFM’s capacity by upgrading technical infrastructure, training staff and volunteers, and strengthening financial and management systems to ensure sustainable growth and high-quality community radio programming for South Orange County.
