Vision

Our mission is to renovate, operate and maintain the historic UC Theatre to advance music, culture and education by presenting a diverse range of performances, including music, film and spoken word events, which deliver an uplifting experience dedicated to the enrichment of the human spirit.

Goals

1. 1.Invest in curating local, national, and international world-class culturally diverse music programming and emerging artists to drive an inclusive tapestry of music, communities, and cultures. Maintaining a competitive advantage to compete with deep pocket national concert promoters to drive earned revenue by increasing the number of sold out shows.
2. 2.Expand Concert Career Pathways Program in scale, scope, communities, and geography, removing barriers to entry for marginalized young adults via hands-on training, paid internships, mentorship, and job placement. 80% of graduates find career path employment after completing the CCP program. Opening doors when a college degree alone could not.
3. 3.Enhance & update The UC Theatre’s Sound & Lighting Systems, infrastructure, leadership & revenue capacity, and customer experience ensuring improved professional standards/experiences for artists, audiences, staff, and young trainees. Ensuring we stay competitive in the SF Bay Area live concert landscape.
