Adaptability Statement
30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
During the last year, we have had to adjust our fund-raising to be less focused on in-person events only, given the difficulties in doing such. However, we did just hold our annual Gala and primary fund-raising event which exceeded past years giving totals despite weariness from in-person gatherings in some of our target populations, especially cancer survivors. We have also increased emphasis on donations made in the name of survivors, and bereavement gifts from families of those who we supported during their battle.
