THE MISSION OF IYT IS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF YOUNG MEN OF COLOR TO ATTEND AND GRADUATE FROM COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.

We envision a nation in which young men of color are overrepresented in higher education, underrepre

1.IYT increases on-time high school graduation. IYT College Academy works with 7-12th grade young men of color, and predominantly serves first-generation Black and Latinx young men.
2.Increase College Readiness. IYT partners with AmeriCorp to provide our students with mentorship and guidance helping get our students to and through college.
3.Increase and improve parent engagement. IYT works closely with parents to ensure the line of communication is open and effective.
