Mission

The mission of UKANDU is to provide joy, hope, and connection to communities impacted by childhood and adolescent cancer. We recognize that cancer impacts the entire family, and we aim to provide parents and caregivers a respite from the physical, emotional, and financial toll childhood cancer poses to families.

As UKANDU has grown over the last six years, we have identified numerous gaps in the services availa

Goals

1.Expand the capacity of existing programming to serve more families.
2.Identify up to three additional program initiatives not currently being offered in our community. Included in this contemplation may be a physical space where programs may be offered.
3.Invest in human and other resources to facilitate greater outreach to families in the BIPOC community and those for whom English may not be their first language.
