Vision

CLEAN WATER NOW, AND FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS. The adoption, implementation, and enforcement, throughout the Teton County, of state-of-the-art, forward-looking plans, regulations, and policies that will ensure the proper management of wastewater, the delivery of healthy potable water for household consumption, and the restoration and protection of our surface water and groundwater resources. The creation of a sustainable program for informing and educating the public about the fragile nature of our water resources and the actions that each valley resident can take to protect our water.

Goals

1. 1.PROTECT & RESTORE: Educate Teton County residents on threats to our water quality and provide long-term solutions. Restore Fish and Flat Creeks through watershed management plans.
2. 2.REGULATIONS: Update Land Development Regulations to achieve the highest level of water quality protection. Educate elected officials on state and national water quality protection legislation.
3. 3.INFRASTRUCTURE: Assist in securing funding for critical water and wastewater infrastructure. Prioritize sewer line construction and connections in the most sensitive areas.
