Adaptability Statement
30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
Since the pandemic, our organization has shifted away from a lot of the in-person distribution events happening for homeless veterans. Because these events stopped being put on in many of the regular areas and regions where we distribute backpacks normally, we've had to look to deeper connections with our existing partners and ironing out our processes for shipping and coordinating backpacks to be distributed in some of those hard to reach places. As a small team of all volunteers and one paid employee, we continue to be challenged with deligating work appropriately.
