Vision

One Love envisions a world where every shelter dog and community pet has a path to a safe, healthy future—and where people are empowered through compassion, connection, and second chances. We strive to redefine animal welfare by supporting both pets and their people through innovative, rehabilitative, and life-saving programs.

Goals

1. 1.Strategically scale back or programs with lower impact in order to focus resources on our highest-performing, mission-aligned initiatives—the Prison Program, Shelter Dog Project, and Fixed & Fabulous. By concentrating on these core programs, we can deepen our impact, improve outcomes for shelter dogs and community pets, and ensure long-term sustainability.
2. 2.To expand and strengthen the Prison Program, our newest initiative, by deepening our partnership with correctional facilities, increasing the number of participating dogs and handlers, and securing sustainable funding. This growth will allow us to transform more lives—both human and canine—through structured training, compassion, and second chances.
3. 3.To continue growing Fixed & Fabulous by expanding eligibility to additional high-risk breeds and securing increased funding to sustain and scale this vital program. By preventing unwanted litters and reducing shelter intake, we aim to address the root causes of the pet overpopulation crisis and create lasting change for vulnerable pets and their communities.
