Vision

Our vision is for all youth, regardless of their background, to rise to their fullest potential through powerful outdoor experiences. To do so we created a vibrant multi-program mountain complex designed exclusively for youth.

Goals

1. 1.Remove Barriers to Participation: Ensure cost, transportation, equipment, and access never prevent a young person from participating. Strategies: Expand scholarship and subsidized participation opportunities. Develop targeted outreach to communities and schools. Build sustainable funding streams that keep participant costs affordable.
2. 2.Deliver Transformative Outdoor Experiences: Use outdoor recreation as a vehicle for youth development, not simply recreation. Strategies: Integrate the RISE framework (Resilience, Inclusion, Support, Empowerment) throughout all programs. Create progressive learning experiences that build confidence and mastery. Emphasize challenge, achievement, and personal growth.
3. 3.Strengthen Community Partnerships: Leverage partnerships to increase impact and reach more youth. Strategies: Engage corporate partners through volunteerism, sponsorships, and workforce initiatives. Build relationships with foundations and government agencies. Create opportunities for community members to invest in and advocate for the mission.
