Vision

Worldwide Welcome

Goals

1. 1.Our workforce development program gives resettled refugees full-time employment with competitive wages. We address limited English, unfamiliar systems, unprocessed trauma, and a labor market that too often shunts newcomers toward the margins. They leave with more than a credential — they leave with confidence, a professional network, and a clear next step.
2. 2.We go deep rather than wide, training over 60 refugees and immigrants from 19 countries since 2015. But our programs and events also reach over 5,200 community members at Clarkston location. More than 150 vendors — over 65% of them refugee- or immigrant-owned — have been featured at our markets. We want to expand this reach.
3. 3.Our model runs on around 65% earned income. So, sustainability means both our donor base grows while our shops earn more with consistency in our operations. Both sides of our leadership are working hard to grow in both areas.
