Pursuit of Innovation

Mission

Our Mission is to challenge, inspire and teach technology skills to students with potential - empowering underserved and refugee youth to achieve success, garner influence, and gain stability in their families and communities.

Vision

Students succeed with opportunity. We’re building a community to empower underserved youth with skills for the future.

Goals

1.Goal: advance socioeconomic equality in the Midwest. We have created successful curriculum and program models that upskill students and create technical career pathways. We have plans to scale our programs across the state and region, reaching more students and expanding access to high-quality work-based learning opportunities for additional underserved, refugee, and rural students.
2.Goal: empower students to maximize success. To reach this goal, we aim for the following metrics: 75-80% year-over-year retention of students, 100% high school graduation rate for Pi515 students, 100% of Pi515 students have postsecondary plans upon graduation (apprenticeship, college, training program, military, etc), and 100% increase in confidence and workforce readiness for Pi515 students
3.Goal: strengthen the organization's financial position. We are working to diversify our funding streams, complementing our strong and sustainable corporate partnerships with an individual donor base and package our curriculum and services for an additional revenue stream. Additionally, we plan to establish an Operating Reserve and achieve 30% unrestricted funding sources.
