A world where smartphones make us smarter and more connected by revealing the history, art, and science that surrounds us.

Goals

1. 1.Working with the American Foundation for the Blind and with the support of the National Endowment for the Humanities, we created an accessible tool used by thousands of museums, libraries, and historical societies to offer walking tours for those with limited vision. We are expanding the language and accessibility features of our website and mobile application in 2025.
2. 2.Thanks to donors, we are building a new platform that will offer place-based interpretation in multiple languages at no cost to communities, libraries, museums, historical societies, universities, and other organizations.
3. 3.In 2024, we offered free services, from hosting walking tours and trails to offering virtual tours of museums and sites. Over 500 organizations have used Clio to create educational experiences in their communities. Examples of organizations we have served include Native American tribes who have authored narrated audio trails and educational groups such as the National Youth Science Conference
