Mission

The mission of Carquinez Village is to build a community that provides social connection, personal support services and lifelong learning to older adults living in Benicia & Vallejo. We are dedicated to enhancing the ability of each of our villagers to live joyful, independent, and fulfilling lives as they age independently in the comfort of their own homes. A community of volunteers is the heart of the village providing everyday support services for elders in need. We decrease isolation by offering an array of social, educational, and cultural programs that inspire members to view life as one of opportunity and possibility. Our members live with the peace of mind knowing that they can rely on their village to be there when they need it most as they age safely in place.
