The Fallen Outdoors

Mission

The Fallen Outdoors is a veteran-run, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting Veterans, Service Members, and Gold Star families through the great outdoors. Our mission is to provide no-cost therapeutic outdoor adventures for those who have served or are currently serving, as well as Gold Star families. By fostering connection, camaraderie, and shared experiences, we aim to combat the crisis of Veteran suicide. Through these adventures, we help Veterans and Service Members develop new skills and a lifelong passion, ensuring they always have a community to turn to.

Vision

At The Fallen Outdoors, we aspire to create a world where every Veteran, Service Member, and Gold Star family finds healing, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose through the power of the great outdoors. By providing transformative, therapeutic outdoor experiences, we aim to foster lasting connections, support mental well-being, and ultimately combat the crisis of Veteran suicide. Through our commitment to outreach, mentorship, and peer support, we envision a future where no one is left behind, and all those who have served find the peace, camaraderie, and strength to thrive.
