UJA-Federation of New York was founded in 1917 to care for Jews everywhere, New Yorkers of all backgrounds, respond to crises near and far, and shape our collective Jewish future. The world's largest local philanthropy, UJA funds a network of hundreds of nonprofits and seed grassroots organizations that can work individually and together to respond to ongoing challenges and emerging issues.
