Vision

We (1) present an annual series of concerts by world-renowned chamber music ensembles and individual musicians, including many women and people of color, and including music outside the traditional European "classical canon"; (2) offer free or discounted admission to our concerts for youth 18 and an accompanying adult, older students, members of the military, and first responders; (3) present free concerts, master classes and other educational programs in Sussex County public schools and after-school programs by our visiting ensembles; (4) offer free or low-cost music programs in other community venues by our visiting musicians; (5) sponsor an annual scholarship competition for musically talented middle and high school students from the Delmarva Peninsula; (6) collect donations of used but playable musical instruments for use in Sussex County schools; and (7) offer educational classes in advance of our concert seasons, at the University of Delaware's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Goals

1. 1.We strive to program nationally and internationally renowned chamber music ensembles and performers, with a diversity of musical styles and historical periods, performers, and composers. We offer free concerts by our visiting ensembles at local schools, senior living centers and other community venues. We are expanding our marketing and outreach to local schools and the community.
2. 2.We are expanding out Board of Directors to increase our financial expertise, marketing, and expertise in music education in local secondary and primary schools.
3. 3.We are investigating new funding and community connections to increase our programming for children and families.
