Vision

Community Forklift will be a catalyst for reuse – transforming surplus materials into opportunity, economic value, and stronger communities. We will inspire people to see possibility in every item and shape how our region understands reuse and sustainability.

Goals

1. 1.Secure a new permanent location to increase the volume of waste diversion, enhance access to affordable building materials, and expand workshops and community programming.
2. 2.Grow organizational capacity by strengthening internal systems and data capabilities, investing in staff skill development, expanding volunteer opportunities, and growing and diversifying revenue streams to sustain expansion.
3. 3.Enhance influence, impact, and community engagement to increase the visibility and understanding of reuse in the broader community, strengthen partnerships with aligned organizations, and expand community giving programs that provide free building materials and home goods to community groups and neighbors in need.
