We aspire to help grow a more vibrant and resilient global community by serving individuals and honoring their maritime stories.

Goals

1.Collections-Based Strategy. We are dedicated to growing our capacity to preserve our vast, invaluable Collections and utilizing those objects to accomplish our mission.
2.We work to ensure that every initiative is community-focused by increasing access to our Collections and programs, lowering financial barriers, and investing in virtual offerings and outreach.
3.Through implementing lean principles, we aim to refocus and align all work at the Museum with our Collections-Based, Community-Focused strategy and make nimble adjustments to serve-first.
