Friends of the Elderly

Mission

FOTE Outreach & Community Services Programs objective is to bring lower-income families, and individuals to a point of self-sufficiency. We will teach them how to empower themselves, by giving them the tools necessary to become self - sufficient by assisting our clients in acquiring the services they need to live with health, dignity, and stability and to be prepared to accept the responsibility of independent living. We will help our clients find the support that they need to build a stable living environment for a brighter tomorrow. The Mission of the FOTE’s KID’s First Program is to provide children with the opportunities for academic advancement by providing tutorial assistance with an emphasis on math, reading, writing and to provide family support during enrollment in FOTE’s Outreach & Community Services Program. It is our foundation’s firm belief that children should always remain children and to give them the proper tools, opportunities and guidance despite their family’s circumstances that are beyond their control and comprehension
