Goals

1. 1.Daily, 42 US families learn their child has cancer & must undergo treatment for 3+ years. In this time, families navigate challenges related to childhood cancer, including financial pressures. The costs of cancer are high. Our financial assistance ensures that a family's essential bills are paid. The # of referrals we receive grows annually, so this program will be utilized into the future.
2. 2.Our goal is to maintain the quality of services delivered & respond efficiently to ongoing assistance requests. We pride ourselves in how quickly bills for families get paid & gas/grocery cards are mailed to families. Our application process is brief without a lot of supporting documents required. This allows our families to access the help they need without excessive barriers.
3. 3.Our communication with families is in person, by phone & through surveys from the time of diagnosis & through their child’s treatment. Information gathered is used to assess how our program is meeting the varied needs of our children & families. It guides us in making decisions about how to grow & change our program so it remains responsive to our families experiencing challenging circumstances.
