The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Scale the organization across our three key impact areas—Navigator Services, Parenting and Adoption Support Services (PASS), and the Lucy C. Vance Center for Behavioral Health. By expanding program capacity, partnerships, and community reach, we aim to serve more families, improve outcomes, and strengthen the resilience of vulnerable populations throughout Metro Atlanta.
Goal Two: Goal 2: Establish Families First as a “Center for Resiliency Excellence” by collecting data from diverse communities to validate the Families First Resiliency Needs Screener (FFRNS), advocate for policy changes, reduce long-term dependency on social services, and empower the next generation of resilient individuals, families, and communities.
Goal Three: Provide comprehensive, culturally competent behavioral health services that address the unique needs of marginalized communities. This includes expanding access to services, growing a pipeline of diverse professionals trained to serve low-income and underserved populations, and fostering long-term mental health resilience through trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapies.
