Vision

In our envisioned future mental illness is not a barrier to a person’s fulfillment of his or her potential. With early pinpoint diagnoses, interventions and targeted support and services, we strive for recovery and wellness. Ultimately, we envision a day when prevention or a cure is found.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to expand NAMI Tennessee's signature programs—such as Family-to-Family, NAMI Basics, Peer-to-Peer, and Connection Support Groups—into underserved communities across the state. This will increase access to mental health education and support, fostering awareness and improving well-being throughout Tennessee.
2. 2.NAMI Tennessee will focus on expanding both existing and new programs, including NAMI FaithNet, NAMI Sharing Hope, and others, to reach more communities across the state. 3. 3.NAMI Tennessee is committed to investing in the capacity of our organization by empowering our 18 affiliates across the state with additional support. We will provide resources, training, and strategic guidance to help strengthen their leadership and improve program delivery. This will enhance our affiliates' ability to better serve their local communities and expand our impact statewide.
