Goals

1. 1.Financial sustainability is a top goal in Flagler Humane Society's (FHS) Strategic Plan. A strong financial position is essential to fulfilling our mission, improving operational metrics, enhancing donor trust, increasing business resilience and driving innovation and growth. Important objectives include maintaining financial health, developing new sources of income and growing our donor base.
2. 2.Cultivating organizational stability by building an engaged and high performing team of staff and volunteers is a top goal for FHS. A strong staff improves performance, builds organizational agility, enhances our reputation and drives long-term success. Near-term objectives include conducting a human resources assessment, strengthening the volunteer program and leveraging technology.
3. 3.Expanding best practices in animal welfare is critical to our mission and a top goal for FHS. Best practices ensure that animals receive the care they need when they need it. FHS is a no-kill shelter. Near-term objectives include reducing animal surrenders, increasing availability of spay-neuter surgery, reducing animal length-of-stay and expanding staff training in SOP’s and data collection.
