    ESTABLISHED IN 1997, SHEPHERD'S HOPE PROVIDES QUALITY, FREE HEALTHCARE FOR THE UNINSURED OF CENTRAL FLORIDA. WITH MORE THAN 1,800 VOLUNTEERS, OUR PROVIDERS CAN PROVIDE ACUTE, EPISODIC, NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE. OUR HEALTH CENTERS ARE NOT INTENDED TO SERVE AS A PERMANENT OR PRIMARY MEDICAL HOME FOR PATIENTS, ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH CHRONIC ILLNESSES. SINCE INCEPTION, SHEPHERD'S HOPE HAS PROVIDED MORE THAN 330,000 MEDICAL SERVICES TO PATIENTS WITH THE DONATED SUPPORT OF AN ALL-VOLUNTEER MEDICAL AND SUPPORT STAFF AND DONATED AND LEASED FACILITIES.
