Vision

The vision for Kentucky Harvest is to continue to develop local partnerships by connecting food companies with food charities while leveraging our network of volunteers to focus on reducing food waste and getting usable food to the hungry in our local community.

Goals

1. 1.Kentucky Harvest will grow by strengthening partnerships with food donors and nonprofits, recruiting more volunteers, expanding the use of the Food Rescue Hero app, and raising funds to scale operations. Investing in more vehicles, staff, and technology, along with public awareness campaigns, will help increase food rescues, reduce waste, and serve more families in need year-round.
2. 2.We need to strengthen infrastructure and operations by purchasing a new refrigerated truck, upgrading technology, and hiring staff to support volunteers. Providing training for volunteers, enhancing donor engagement strategies, and increasing outreach will further amplify our impact. Additionally, buidling partnerships with more food donors and nonprofits will help serve more people in need.
