    Mission

    Bikes for Tykes, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization whose mission is to provide bicycles to Southwest Florida communities in need. By providing new or reconditioned bikes, Bikes for Tykes empowers children, fights childhood obesity and reduces our environmental impact. A bicycle gives a child his or her first test of true independence, self-reliance, self-esteem and a foundation for a healthy lifestyle. In recent years, Bikes for Tyke has also responded to an increasing need for transportation for adults who do not have access to transportation.
