SSPA is a resource for everyBODY who has a passion to move and be moved. Our organizational commitment to mental and physical wellness, body positivity, and empowerment is at the heart of everything we do. From programming to professional development, we believe in the power of performing arts to inspire curiosity, collaboration, and self-reflection. Our team is committed to building a future where everyone has a seat in the audience and a place on stage.

Goals

1. 1.SSPA conducts an annual review of programatic offerings based on demand from the performing arts community in Marin and in response to the rapidly evolving mental, physical, and social-emotional needs of youth students. SSPA has developed multiple Artistic Training Tracks pathways of study for students aged 9-19 including ballet, contemporary, accelerated study, hip hop and musical theater.
2. 2.SSPA has recently invested in developing its musical theater program including Musical Theatre Conservatory Training encompassing acting, scene work, audition preparation, choreography and vocal training. The division offers both Fall and Spring performance opportunities.
3. 3.Investing in the capacity of our nonprofit organization is crucial to amplifying our impact and achieving our mission more effectively. By enhancing our infrastructure, we can improve operational efficiency, scale our programs, and better serve our community. Ultimately, strengthening our capacity will lead to more sustainable growth and a greater positive impact on the communities we serve.
