Mission

Pfeifer Camp's mission is building young lives through innovative education, outdoor recreation, and family involvement through the Pfeifer Camp AmeriCorps Program, Summer Camp, and the Counselor-In-Training (CIT) programs with a focus on at-risk and economically disadvantaged youth ages 8 to 18.

Vision

A world where children can envision and manifest healthy relationships, express gifts and talents, attain lifelong goals, develop leadership skills, and practice civic engagement and service to their community.

Goals

1.Statewide expansion of the Central Arkansas in-school Pfeifer Camp AmeriCorps Program (tutoring, mentoring, social and emotional learning) for elementary schools with low rates of academic success.
2.To expand the capacity of students attending free Summer Camp (ages 8-14) and the College and Career Readiness Program (Counselor-In-Training C.I.T. ages 14-18).
3.Due to the pandemic and loss of residential programming, came the loss of our weekly parent training component. Our goal is to reestablish and expand the parent involvement component in our programs.
