Vision

The PRC believes that New Orleans is a city where our historic places and cultural identity should be valued and not threatened.

Goals

1. 1.The PRC is committed to expanding access to its programs and services across Greater New Orleans. By deepening partnerships with schools, neighborhood organizations, and community stakeholders, the PRC aims to reach more residents, students, and tradespeople — ensuring that preservation education, workforce training, and community revitalization resources are available to all who stand to benefit.
2. 2.The PRC is investing in the organizational capacity needed to sustain and grow its impact. In recent years we launched new programs, made strategic new hires, and strengthened financial management practices. The PRC is leverages its endowment to support programmatic work, ensuring a stable, long-term foundation from which to expand its mission and deepen its service to the New Orleans community.
3. 3.Responding to the evolving needs of the communities it serves, the PRC has developed targeted programs alongside its established work. The Bridge to Crafts Careers program addresses a shortage of skilled preservation tradespeople, while Revival Grants and a new FORTIFIED roof gap-funding initiative help LMI homeowners access repairs and storm-resilience upgrades.
