Vision

Young Actors’ Theatres’ students, staff, and volunteers are all expected to maintain our basic core principles, yet still follow their DREAM:​​ D-determination R-respect E-excellence A-acceptance M-making a difference

Goals

1. 1.Diversifying Income: We are pursuing additional grant opportunities and planning two new community fundraising events by 2026 to broaden donor engagement beyond participant families. Relocation Fund: We are establishing a reserve fund to prepare for relocation and associated costs, including tenant improvements and moving expenses.
2. 2.To expand our audience beyond families of participants, we partnered with a nonprofit to distribute free tickets in 2025, and aim to secure a second partner by year-end. In 2024, we introduced school-specific discount codes and are now tracking usage to better understand outreach success. Since 2021, we’ve conducted post-show surveys to measure communication, scheduling, inclusivity, and value.
3. 3.We provide a positive environment that fosters collaboration, confidence, and growth for youth actors, creative teams, and emerging arts professionals. We support young adults pursuing careers in the arts by offering volunteer and paid opportunities to gain experience in production, teaching, and administration. We offer support and a safe space for all with an emphasis the on LQBTQ+ community.
