Mission
Gulf Coast Center is a community based behavioral health Intellectual Developmental Disability Center and a governmental entity that servesas the Local Mental Health Authority and Certified Community Behavorial Health Clinic for Galveston and Brazoria Counties in Texas. It is theprimary outpatient behavioral health provider for the public state system of care in Galveston and Brazoria Counties in Texas. GCC overcomesgaps and fragmentation of care and removes barriers to care for populations with serious and persistent mental illness emotional disturbances,and substance use disorders. Since 1969 Gulf Coast Center has provided a multitude of services in the areas of behavioral health including the integration of mental health disorder and substance use disorder services and intellectual and developmental disability services. GCC specializes in providing care coordination and wrap around services for individuals with acute and co occurring diagnoses across healthcare disciplines.

Eligible charities must also meet the following criteria:
