Canine Partners of the Rockies Inc.

Mission

TO ENABLE COLORADANS WITH DISABILITIES TO LEAD MORE INDEPENDENT AND GRATIFYING LIVES BY PARTNERING THEM WITH HIGHLY SKILLED ASSISTANCE (SERVICE) DOGS.

Vision

Increased independence for individuals living with a disability.

Goals

1.Our goal is to increase the number of service/facility dog placements by 2-3 per year over the next 5 years.
2.In order to expand our programming and capacity, we realize that we will need to move into a large facility within the next three years. We are currently making plans to identify what we need in a space and to increase our financial capabilities to operate in an expanded space.
3.We continue to provide outreach within our community to speak about the benefits of service dogs and to explain accessibility laws in order to create a more accommodating experience for our placement teams. We seek out events with other disability groups or government agencies where we can have an informational booth or give a presentation about our work.
