The mission of the University Eye Associates was to provide a full range of eye services using cutting edge technology in a cost effective manner, to train physicians, students and others in Ophthalmology research, and to advance knowledge related to the eye and eye disease through research to improve clinical outcomes. UEA, since August 1, 2021, operates as part of UTHealth Neurosciences Ophthalmology.
