Mission

The Fund for Santa Barbara is a non-profit community foundation that supports grassroots organizations working for social, economic, environmental and political justice in Santa Barbara County. We make grants to community groups and coalitions across the region supporting long-term movements and emerging needs; build capacity of progressive organizations to help them be bold and effective; nurture coalitions; influence philanthropy; and develop movement leadership.
