The Charis Project

Mission

The Charis Project equips families and communities in crisis on the Thai/Burma border with the wisdom and courage to raise their children to be the heroes they were born to be.

Vision

A next generation of adults who are wise, compassionate, and courageous, who are willing and able to pick up the broken pieces of the world and make it better.

Goals

1.We are actively working to restructure our existing highly effective programs and management structures to unify the different departments, eliminate silos, and at the same time deepen our mission impact while increasing project efficiency in order to maximize the effect of every donor dollar.
2.Increase our capacity for establishing VSLAs for migrant communities in the border region to 50 active VSLA groups under coaching, resulting in 100 groups in the next 4 years, impacting 2000 families.
3.Strengthen our marketing and fundraising infrastructure, including digital and in person systems and processes to diversify funding and grow the funding base leading to greater sustainability.
