Mission

Ukraine Global Scholars (UGS) is 501c3 public charity that has helped 350+ Ukrainian high school students from modest backgrounds receive $90+ million in scholarships to top global boarding schools and colleges. In exchange, students commit to return to Ukraine for at least five years to rebuild the country. We aim to develop a new generation of Ukrainian leaders capable of creating a victorious and prosperous future in Ukraine today. Through mentorship, education, career guidance, and empowerment for Ukrainian youth, we seek to scale our impact and generate a powerful ripple effect.

Vision

We are raising a new generation of Ukrainian leaders capable of accelerating the development of post-war Ukraine.

Goals

1.We scaled from 53 to 100+ UGS scholars annually throughout 2021-2024.
2.We decided to scale back on the boarding school track. In the academic year 2023-2024, we supported 43 students with their applications to boarding schools, and this year, at most, 20 students.
3.This year, we have hired the Director of Admissions & Marketing for a full-time position (before—a volunteer position) and built partnerships that will unlock job opportunities for our students.
