    International FIRST Committee Association, holding competitions as FIRST Global , is a non-profit organization established to excite the youth and nations of the world about the value of investing in and pursuing STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to help build the science, engineering, and technology skills needed by nations to work on global challenges together. Driven by the enthusiasm of the students as they cooperate in teams, each nation is invited to assemble their own robot and send a high school student-team to represent its country in an annual international olympics-style robotics competition.
