Vision

We imagine a future where people and nature thrive side by side - where local food, clean energy, sustainable transportation, and the conservation of pollinators and wildlife all help our communities live healthier, more connected lives. Together, we're building a community that lives in balance with the planet.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to expand access to our sustainable living programs by growing our community gardens, composting hubs program, pollinator projects, and Free Little Pantries-helping more residents learn, share, and take action for a greener, healthier, and more food-secure region.
2. 2.We're investing in the financial management and technical capacity of our organization by hiring our first paid staff, improving fundraising systems, and expanding resources to support future growth, and long-term sustainability of our community programs.
3. 3.NEEC's goal is to build a more sustainable and environmentally just region by advocating for policies and community practices that protect nature, reduce waste, and strengthen resilience through education, civic engagement, and grassroots environmental action.
