Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare

Mission

SMASH connects Seattle-area musicians with free-and-low-cost essential health services for mental health counseling, dental care, hearing protection and wellness visits. We also assist eligible musician members in signing up for State-administered & sponsored health insurance, and direct them to navigation resources for other insurance options. In addition, we partner with sliding-scale clinics and other nonprofits to expand access to care.

Vision

We envision the greater Puget Sound Region as a haven for musicians of all backgrounds, genres and experiences because we have an inclusive community and robust support system that values their lives and art-form. We work toward a region free from health inequities, filled with creative opportunities and respect for the individuals who make up our music scene and enrich our lives and culture.

Goals
