THE MISSION OF THE KENTUCKY INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDIES, INC. - A NON-PROFIT CONSORTIUM OF COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES BASED AT WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY - IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY EDUCATION IN AN INTERNATIONAL SETTING. IN 2023, FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, KIIS RESUMED NORMAL OPERATIONS OF ITS PORTFOLIO OF STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS, WHICH LARGELY EXPLAINS WHY 74 MORE STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN KIIS 2023 VERSUS 2022 PROGRAMS.
