Mission

The South American Initiative (SAI) is a philanthropic organization based in the United States, dedicated to offering essential aid in Venezuela. Our primary mission involves providing food and medical assistance to orphans; healthcare for children, newborns, expectant mothers, elderly individuals, as well as food and shelter for abandoned dogs and animals in zoos. Our concentrated efforts in Venezuela are in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis plaguing the nation. At SAI, we strive to extend our support to all Venezuelans, overlooking any political, social, or racial divisions. We stand for inclusivity and remain committed to serving those most vulnerable in society.

3.South American Initiative will step in to fill this gap providing food and medical care to neglected animals that are suffering in these zoos. We are presently working with two zoos and one animal refuge in providing food and medical care to these animals, and plan to work with many more.
