Vision

We believe that, by assessing community need, collaborating with other mission-aligned service providers, providing direct services, promoting volunteerism, and analyzing results against our goals, we will systematically create and support a safety net for individuals and families who are often marginalized in our society, so that they may stand with dignity and create a future in which they grow and thrive.

Goals

1. 1.As part of the integration of our Theory of Change (ToC), we are deepening our commitment to care coordination and the enhancement of protective factors across all programs. With our Food & Nutrition Security Program Area, our staff developed an innovative (no fee) membership program for our Food & Nutrition Security programs that will allow us to better understand the needs of our community.
2. 2.We've added several new staff positions including a full-time dedicated Data Coordinator position which helps us more accurately evaluate impact and make informed programming decisions, a full-time additional Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, a full-time Development Associate position who is also assisting with communications, and a part-time Grant Manager.
3. 3.Our new programs work to incorporate the Strengthening Families Framework and five community protective factors and include: Círculo de Apoyo Familiar, our new Child & Parent Well-being Program designed to empower parents. We are also launching a new 13-week mental health series for our clients in collaboration with the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health.
