Tennessee Alliance for Kids Inc.

Mission

TAK meets essential needs to comfort children, empower youth, and offer hope to families impacted by foster care in Tennessee.

Vision

Until every need is met for Tennessee's children

Goals

1.By strengthening the FosterLove, TAK PAK, and TAK Celebrations programs through enhanced infrastructure, TAK will be equipped to meet a greater number of urgent needs, gather more meaningful data, and strengthen relationships with local partners.
2.Planned improvements include upgrades to our online platform to enhance ease-of-use for frontline workers, implementation of a real-time impact tracking system, and expansion of our physical office storage and packing space to manage the increasing volume of requests. These upgrades will reduce friction, improve turnaround time, and allow for more consistent, high-quality service delivery.
3.Significantly expanding our operational capacity in Middle Tennessee through strategic hires and targeted infrastructure development will directly support our mission to meet essential needs to comfort children, empower youth, and offer hope to families impacted by foster care, especially in a region facing the highest rates of foster care instability in the nation.
