Mission

Kantaya's mission is to promote quality education and holistic development for children living in impoverished communities in Peru. Kantaya consists of two legal entities: (1) Asociacion Kantaya Inc. (“Kantaya US"), a U.S. 501 (c)(3) non-profit domiciled in Pennsylvania and responsible for international fundraising. Currently, funds raised through Kantaya US amount to roughly 10% of the total funding of Kantaya; and (2) Asociacion Kantaya (“Kantaya Peru”), a non-profit association domiciled in Peru, responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of Kantaya Programs.
