Mission

THE MISSION OF CIA SIAB, INC., IS TO PROVIDE CULTURALLY EMPOWERING ADVOCACY TO THE HMOOB COMMUNITY THROUGH HOLISTIC SUPPORT SERVICES, WITH REVITALIZATION OF THE HMOOB LANGUAGE AND CULTURE AS THE FOUNDATION.

Our vision is a culturally vibrant Hmoob community, beginning with freedom from interpersonal and institutional violence.

Goals

1.Provide bilingual, bicultural victim services to the Hmoob community in La Crosse and its surrounding counties in Western Wisconsin.
2.Since 2021, we have been focused on creating and expanding an emergency and transitional housing program that centers the needs of victims and survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
3.Our weekly support group programs for elders, youth, and adults continue to grow and evolve, with increased attendance and participation each year.
