Never Alone Initiative

Mission

Never Alone Initiative supports surviving military families through connection, healing, advocacy, and forward movement. We provide compassionate programs, resources, and community-centered support that help surviving spouses, children, and caregiving families rebuild after loss, strengthen resilience, and move toward long-term stability and hope.

Vision

We envision a future where no surviving military family feels forgotten, isolated, or left to navigate life after loss alone. Never Alone Initiative strives to create a connected and compassionate community where surviving spouses, children, and caregiving families are supported, empowered, and able to move forward with dignity, purpose, and hope.

Goals

1.Expand access to Anchored Forward and related support programs for surviving military spouses and families by increasing outreach, participant engagement, partnerships, and program availability across Louisiana.
2.Strengthen Never Alone Initiative’s internal capacity through board development, fundraising systems, donor engagement, updated technology, volunteer support, and improved program evaluation practices.
3.Advance advocacy for surviving military spouses, caregiving families, and dependents by raising awareness, building coalitions, sharing lived experiences, and supporting policy solutions that address long-term family needs.
