Combat Wounded Service Organization (CWSO) empowers and assists disabled combat wounded veterans of all eras who honorably served. CWSO supports the combat wounded, and other Veteran Service Organizations, through our partnerships with veteran service organizations like the Military Order of the Purple Heart and WIA-KIA of the USA, Vets Helping Vets and others. CWSO is an all volunteer foundation comprised of combat wounded veterans or their spouses.

Combat Wounded Service Organization cannot be rated because Charity Navigator does not evaluate private foundations.
To receive a star rating, a charity must be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity. Private foundations, consolidated subsidiaries, and organizations with revoked or inactive IRS status are not eligible for a rating.
Eligible charities must also meet the following criteria:
A nonprofit may be listed but not rated if it does not yet meet Form 990 filing requirements, is newly registered, files only Form 990-EZ or 990-N, or is otherwise ineligible for a star rating.
