Vision

Restless Books aims to amplify global perspectives to an English-reading audience. We look to publish stories for adults and young readers that offer new perspectives, less-familiar points of view, and a window into other cultures. We also strive to elevate the work of translators and translated literature; to celebrate underrepresented immigrant writers; and to provide cultural programming for our community via writing workshops, public events, and our annual Immigrant Writing Prize.

Goals

1. 1.Publish a balanced calendar of 10 books annually from a range of countries, which provides variety for readers, a steady sales stream, and ensures each book receives the oversight needed for success.
2. 2.Establish comprehensive in-house marketing and publicity plans for each new book in order to set up creators up for long-term success and foster future partnerships with diverse media outlets.
3. 3.Grow our donor database and development capabilities in our new home in Amherst, MA. We want our donors to feel a connected with us and stay up to date with the achievements that their aid provides.
