Vision

When you are struck with a disability there is no manual. VVF has created a resource navigator role that helps serve as that manual. Through the interactions our resource navigator has, we can hear the needs of the community we serve. We are currently working on solutions for a community connection portal, caregivers, transportation, and better outreach at the patient level. Creating a an easy-to-navigate model for information is a common goal VVF is working on with other organizations that serve this often overlooked community.

Goals

1. 1.Transportation for those in wheelchairs. The freedom and independence that comes from having your license is a freedom that adaptive drivers have a right to. VVF is building an instructional adaptive driving van to bring access to the many adaptive drivers waiting in the state of NH to get their licenses. This pilot program can then be extended to others in other states.
2. 2.The Victory Scholarship program sees the number of applications increasing during each cycle. VVF does not like to turn individuals in need away. Capacity growth in both staff and fundraising is key to ensuring that we can help serve more people during each cycle. As the need grows, our funding needs to grow to help fulfill the needs of those living with mobility disabilities.
3. 3.As stated above, to better help the community that VVF serves, we need to secure more funding. This happens through additional staff focused on fundraising. Impact is only possible when organizations are supported to grow their infrastructure.
