Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation

Mission

FEHSF is a humanitarian, apolitical and patriotic nonprofit that serves as a “Financial First Responder” for federal law enforcement professionals and their families. We provide rapid, direct financial assistance following line-of-duty incidents, serious medical emergencies, natural disasters and other extraordinary hardships, with a goal of delivering support within 24–48 hours of notification.

Vision

FEHSF envisions a nation where every federal law enforcement professional and family facing an unexpected crisis knows that immediate, compassionate financial assistance is available. We aim to be the trusted national “Financial First Responder,” recognized for rapid support, strong agency partnerships and an unwavering commitment to those who serve.

Goals

1.By the end of 2027, FEHSF will expand outreach to federal law enforcement agencies and field offices by at least 25% while maintaining a target of disbursing at least 90% of approved emergency grants within 48 hours of receiving a complete and verified request.
2.By the end of 2027, FEHSF will strengthen its financial, technical and operational capacity by implementing standardized grant tracking, enhanced financial controls and quarterly performance reviews, including response-time, grant-volume and program-impact reporting.
3.By the end of 2027, FEHSF will conduct a formal needs assessment of the federal law enforcement families and agency partners it serves, identify priority unmet needs, evaluate at least two potential new support initiatives, and develop or pilot at least one program responsive to those findings.
